Description

Sweet Saga is an action role-playing board game set in a delicious world gone sour.

Game features:
-Exciting candy-coated combat
-Utilize deliciously deadly weapons like the Cookie Cutter, and the Kandi Hammer
-Face off against twisted enemies like the Gingerbrute, Brownie Bear, and Ice cream Sammutt
-Shape your destiny with Encounters that force you to make difficult decisions

The world of Sweet Saga is coming together brilliantly! When we began with the initial concepts for the characters, setting, and story for the game it was a struggle to visualize it very clearly, but as we push on with the card illustrations the world is taking on a life of its own.

As the illustrations continue, so too does the fleshing out of the four areas in the game:

Lala Land: Sweeping plains with rock qandi cliffs jutting out on the horizon. Those who live and work in this world chop down large Lollipops to use to make their homes, armor, weapons, and much more.

Fudge Brownie Bayou: An overgrown swamp region filled with witches, snakes, and fudge monsters. Players here will fight sorcery that can flip the game on its head in an instant. they'll also discover hidden treasure once lost to the ages...

Cherrytop Tundra: A cold, forbidding land of ice cream that will turn the unwary into a living popsicle. The Cremerians call this place their home, and they've joined the King to hunt down every last dreamer.

The Frosted Throne: This is where much of the King's gingerbread army trains and waits for the eventual occupation of the other realms of the Sweetly Kingdom. Here you will encounter every level of gingerbread warrior, enormous jawbreakers that will crush every last bone in your body if you let them, and the Mad King himself.

Right now the focus is on enemy cards and some simple encounters. We're still working to flesh the story out more before moving on to creating encounter cards that weave that story into the gameplay. So far we're still on track to complete the game sometime next year. You can follow the progress on Facebook-www.facebook.com/spchronicles
